Hong Kong (Kai Tak) International Airport

Kai Tak was the international airport of Hong Kong from 1925 to 1998. The airport was infamously difficult to land at Runway 13, with numerous skyscrapers and mountains located to the north. It had one runway (13/31) made by reclaiming land from Victoria Harbour. On July 6, 1998, the airport was replaced by the new Hong Kong International which is located on the island of Chek Lap Kok.
