Hong Kong International Airport serve as a medium for flights, connecting to different cities in mainland China and around the world. Up to now, Hong Kong International Airport is served by major international airlines that provide around 4 900 scheduled passenger flights and 700 freight flights weekly from Hong Kong to 139 cities worldwide. When the airport is fully developed, the airport will be able to handle up to approxmately 90 million passengers and 9 million tonnes of cargo a year.
Hong kong International Airport has been named the best airport from 2001-2007 in a survey conducted by British-based Skytrax Research.
