On April 24, 2010 1200Z, vACC Philippines will host “Kadaugan sa Mactan”, featuring Mactan International Airport (RPVM). This event commemorates the day Chief Lapu Lapu, in defense of his homeland from early attempts of Spanish colonization, defeated Portuguese sailor Ferdinand Magellan on the shores of the Mactan Islands.
